This is print of an original sketchbook drawing, reproduced on 8x10 textured watercolor paper. Inspired by scientific illustrations, specimen plates, and naturalist field guides, I referenced some of my favorite oyster shapes and salty slurps, alternating between the textural patterns of exterior shells and curved insides ready for a tiny fork. Lots of love to my beloved Lowcountry purveyors, see if you can spot ‘em!
